My daughter, a student at MSU, will be backcountry camping for 14 weeks this summer while working on a research project. I know I saw a post quite awhile ago on this forum about packaging meals for camping that I thought could be useful to her, but I can't find it now. I've tried all the key words I can think of. Anybody know where it is, or have relevant info? She will be able to restock every 2 weeks or so, and will probably have a cooler, but ice will only last 2-3 days. Food will be stored in a bear box.
Try searching the Insider Forum for this - Easy Campfire/Grill Meals. There are quite a lot of suggestions in there. I'm sure your daughter can find something useful in there for her upcoming adventure!
