That looks like a terrific place for photography ...How big of an area is it? Nice shots!

Historic Main street is at least 1 mile long and there are other historic/photogenic buildings and scenes in the immediate area one street over or up a side street.
We celebrated our bicentennial this year. St. Charles is where Lewis & Clark finally hopped into the same boat and headed up the Missouri. Some of these buildings do date from that time; almost all date from the 1800's

Cool! Must say I have never been into St. Charles proper. Need to do that sometime. Love the ivy on the one building!
